Beyond the old iron gate a south-facing and very private courtyard offers its shadows or the murmur of water that runs in an old stone tank. Inside the wide living-room opens to a cosy porch on the north side of the house. Pieces of ancestral furniture are combined with modern ones in a very contemporary functionality. The light drawn by the woods and the privacy of its numerous corners designed to savour the different hours of the day or to enjoy the outdoors protected from the prevailing wind, creates a somewhat monastic and contemplative atmosphere.
